Tape Backup from Backup to Disk Folder

i have a question and bevore i bother the Symantec Support i want to ask the wise community.I imagine that there is a solution for my case.
Sooo, we have Symantec Backup Exec 15 on a Win 2008 R2 Server.
Its all fine and we are happy with Symantec. Now we plan a new backup concept.
My Case:
We backup 5 Lotus Domino Servers to backup to disk (works so far).
We also backup 4 other normal Servers to disk. Just folders with files, no Database or AD.
Then we have some files on our Backup Server from robocopy jobs.
Now we want to backup the Lotus Domino Servers, 2 of the 4 normal servers and the robocopy files to tape. We only have one tape (LTO6) and notape library.
Cause of the restriction that you only can have one backup to disk folder on one partition, all the server backups are in one folder.
Is it possible? If yes, how?
i am helpless :(

I need a solution
Just recently got engaged with a customer who has a specific Oracle RMAN backup failing time & time again. It was observed that it ran fine for about 2 hours before it bombed.
Here is the error message.

Workaround formulated is:
1. Swap the NIC with another to see if the problem moves.
2. Replace the card and see if we still have the problem.

For different backup selection use separate job and single job
I need a solution
In BE15, diff and full job are group into one job and using same selection list. Seems I cannot select different folder or add some exclusion in same job. E.G. I cannot exclude *.pst file in diff job but include *.pst in full job.
To use different selection, I have to create two Backup to disk job.
But considering the principle of "Using archive bit"in the backup method for files, is same selection list for full and diff will be better for this backup method ?
Any advantage and disadvantage to group diff and full in same job with same selection and split them into two backup jobs.

SDR restore failed
I need a solution
Hi, we are helping a customer to test SDR recovery. The BE server is BE 2014 SP2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. The clients we tried to recover are also running on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. We reboot the client from SDR boot CD and we can see the backup sets by remotely connect to the backup server. However, when the recovery job starts to run, it will run at 0% for very long time. From backup server side, we see recovery job failed but it does not say why it fails.
Have anyone see similar cases before? Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

problem with Netbackup operation manager

I have windows 2008 master (64 bit) & media server (32 bit) with netbackup 7.0.1
I have NOM for 6.5 for 32 bit that come with our toolkit earlier. From the file comnnect I can't found any NOM package
so I tried to install Netbackup operation manager 6.5 on media server (7.0.1).
from install folder I run
->Veritas NetBackup Operations Manager.msi
It is successful. Then I run
->SETUP.EXE
After some step It shows the following screen
I just change the password and continue and it is install successfully
But while I want browse it shows
please help me how I can procceed?

Uninstall of Backup Exec 12
I need a solution
Hi Everyone,
I am currently stuck trying to uninstall Backup Exec 12 from an SBS 2008 server.
Uninstalling through add/remove programs got me no where other than Windows thinking the software had been uninstalled.
I have followed the guide found here: http://www.handybackup.net/symantec-backup-exec-uninstall.shtml, but still cannot remove it from either program files and program data. I am admin on the server but assume there must be some other magically username/password to remove this (or other magically technique).

Master job and Child jobs

1)
I have scheduled NDMP backup. In backup selections I have created 6 New Streams and inside each stream I have specified some paths of the data to be backed up.
When the policy is triggered 1 Master job and 6 Child jobs are initiated. After their completion some child jobs show partially completed. I note the paths failed from the detailed status of the child job. I opened one policy named as partial policy and went to Backup Selections and created 1 New Stream and under this I pasted the paths which were failed.
But when i run the partial policy - 1 master job was initiated then one child job. But 1 more job initiated named as "New Stream" as showing in job overview.
Theoretically only two jobs should start - 1 master and 1 child then what is the purpose of the 3rd job.
2)
One more thing I am getting. As I know if all child jobs are completing successfully i.e. 0 then the master job should also reflect the status code 0 i.e. completed successfully. But why in some cases it shows partial with status 1 and in some cases failed with status 99.

When I launch restore, the job are ever created ! In the GUI "View status" I don't have a verbose progress...
In the logs C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\logs\user_ops\Admin000\logs , I have 2 files NBWIN003 & NBWIN004 but they are empty !
Netbackup version is 7.6.1.1 with this hotfix : https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH230... .

Netbackup code 155 occurring on an AIX client

We have one Backup client that’s getting the code 155 disk full error
Message: disk is full
Explanation: The write to the catalog file failed because the disk that contains the catalog database is full, or the track log folder is full.
Recommended Action: Free up space on the disks where NetBackup catalogs reside or where the track log folder resides and retry the operation.
Question for freeing up space on where the track log folder resides are there specific files that we can delete without the intervention of the AIX sysadmin? I don’t want to delete something that is important.
I check the /usr and it only has 1.77GB of space left
