Queries on VNX Remote NDMP backup

Hi

We want to implement NAS filer backup via "Remote NDMP" option to RHEL media server attached with "DD OST"

Netbackup version : 7.6.0.1

NAS storage : EMC VNX 6500

Master & Media server OS : RHEL 6.4

Network zones : Intranet & DMZ (both intranet & DMZ zone shares will be available in one Data mover, but every zone will have it's own VDM)

Network Speed : 10Gig (Converged Environment)

Could some one help me with my queries on this backup method;

How DMZ NAS shares can be backed up using intranet media server? Can this be possible or we need deploy media server in DMZ zone also?

As per my knowledge,  we dont use VDM names for backing up NAS shares, we use DM names and provide full mount point path in backup selections. So i feel that, whether it is DMZ share or intranet share, we will be able to backup using Intranet Master/media server. Please correct if i am wrong.

And also we want to redirect NDMP backups using dedicated backup IP to avoid load on production/user traffic. What are the best practices we can follow for the same?
