BE 3600 System Status LED (Front Bezel)

On the BE 3600 Appliance is the System Status LED supposed to be on all the time? Mine has been on since first boot-up, the LED without the front bezel is green and the console shows everything as Optimal.  But once you put the bezel on it it lits up the exclamation sign on so I am not sure if there really is a problem. On most other appliances, no problem means no light.  Anyone else can cofirm my suspicions?
